Enviromon.net has two different SecurityHawk Base Units to choose from depending on the number of environmental conditions (and, subsequently, the number of Smart Sensors) you wish you monitor. The Base Unit is, in fact, the "heart" of your environmental monitoring system, as all Smart Sensors must be connected into a Base Unit in order to function.

The SecurityHawk 8 Port Base Unit can monitor up to eight (8) Smart Sensors and four (4) cameras and is the right choice for those who need to monitor a variety of conditions and are looking at expanding that number in the future. Similarly, the SecurityHawk 8-20 Base Unit can also monitor up to eight (8) Smart Sensors and four (4) cameras but has the added security of being able to monitor twenty (20) Dry Contact Sensors.

Camera Connection

Display pictures from up to four (4) analogue cameras simultaneously in several sizes (up to 640X480 pixels resolution). Analogue cameras are used in professional surveillance and CCTV monitoring systems. A built-in pan-tilt controller interface allows for complete control of pan and tilt cameras using the industry standard Pelco-D bus.

Wide Sensor Selection

Unlike competitive products which can only monitor temperature and humidity, SensorHawk products have a large assortment of attachable sensors, including airflow, security, smoke, liquid/water, voltage and more! Up to eight (8) Smart Sensors can be plugged into the SecurityHawk allowing you to monitor only the conditions you desire.

Web and Email Enabled

The SecurityHawk Base Units are TCP/IP enabled, and has a built-in web server, so there’s no software to install, and you can monitor your sensor status from any computer with a web browser. Receive your sensor alert messages via email.

Video Conferencing

An external camera, connected to the base unit, can be utilized for video conferencing when combining the SecurityHawk’s integrated speaker and microphone.

Sensor Graphing

All sensor data is displayed in easy to view, customizable graphs in the SecurityHawk’s web-based user interface. An embedded database of sensor data is built and accessible from the web interface or downloaded to a remote computer. Network Management systems, such as Netmon, can be used to access all SNMP data and provide historical charting.

False Message Filter

Extensive filtering of events allows for the prevention of false alarms. Events can be limited to specific days or time of day or limited to the number of alerts received per hour in order to decrease the number of messages received.

Emergency Automatic Shutdown

Enviromon’s Linux devices will automatically send a shutdown message to your Linux or Windows based servers. You can rest assured that your servers will be safely shot down before your UPS runs out.

User Configurable Thresholds

You can define upper and lower thresholds for your Smart Sensors, and designate up to six (6) alert recipients to be notified when thresholds are exceeded.

Expandable and Upgradeable
